Abundant Life Art Exhibit

Second Annual Abundant Life Art Exhibit
began Thursday, April 21st

at Gethsemane Lutheran Church

The Lutheran Visual Arts Council of Central Texas was formed in 2015. They hosted the first Abundant Life Art Exhibit in 2015. Gethsemane Lutheran is hosting the Second Annual Abundant Life Art Exhibit which began Thursday April 21st, the birthday of the late Gabriel Loire, the creator of the beautiful Gethsemane Stained Glass Windows.

Pehr Smith, Clare Andrus and Pastor Karl Gronberg have invited Austin area artists to display their work. The 2016 exhibit features work from Stuart Wallace, chair of the North Austin Creatives, Jenna Bruns, Cottonpatch Designs, selected pieces from the Gethsemane Lutheran Children’s Ministry Art Show, along with works by Clare Andrus, Pehr Smith and Robert Rekart.

Gethsemane members are invited to visit the exhibit in the Steffans Parlor. Plans are for a closing reception Sunday, May 22nd 3-5 p.m. when the artists discuss their work.
