Music Ministry
Martin Luther referred to music as the 5th gospel!
The goal of the Music Ministry of Gethsemane is to worship and praise God with heart, soul, mind and strength. By participating in a wide range of choral and instrumental groups, persons of all ages are enabled to offer their gifts in worship, for the benefit of the community, and as a creative response to God’s love.

The bell choir is open to all ages. Bellissimo offers music for worship throughout the year and features spiritually uplifting arrangements of outstanding composers.
Traditional Sundays (Pipe Organ)
Margaret Manz, Organist
Talented Gethsemane musicians play traditional pipe organ music two to three Sundays a month. The heart of music is certainly the Paul Fort Gethsemane Memorial Pipe Organ. The fifth gospel fills the worship space, inviting all to worship God.
Gethsemane has a strong musical heritage with a beautifully acoustically designed sanctuary. All of the choirs are open to everyone in order to share the joy of singing. We also invite individuals and small groups to offer their special gifts of music to enhance our worship throughout the year. Please contact one of the directors/coordinators or one of our pastors for more information.
